I know a girl by this name. It's a nn for Eduarda, similar to Lalo being a nn for Eduardo.

It's okay, but only as a nn IMO. The Lala I know has never been teased about her name, so it's usable.

And if you want a name that sounds like LAY-luh, I prefer the Layla spelling to Leila. Cause Layla is a darn awesome song.
