I don't really like Evangeline because in Uncle Tom's Cabin, Little Eva is happy that she's sick and can't wait to die (on top of that, she's talking about how the afterlife is so good). Such strong language to be using on a child dying.

in the German version she doesn't seem happy to be dying at all. She just accepts it somehow but she isn't happy about it or that she's sick.
