I want to like this name but I don't know if I like the meda sound. What do you all think of this name

I don't mind the MED sound...It's the DR~ that gets me. Terribly unattractive.

I love it, but then I am a huge fan of Greek names, so it really isn't a surprise. :-)

I met an Andromeda recently...She was my server at a restaurant. :-)I wouldn't use Andromeda, but it's a nice enough name. I like the "meda" sound.

I love it, but more as a GP. I'd never use it in real life except maybe for a middle name if I was feeling adventurous (I love the combo Phoebe Andromeda right now).

I love it..Personally I prefer Andromache because Andromeda has a sort of sci-fi feeling to me, but I love both.
If Alexandra and Andrea are acceptable names, why not Andromeda?

yuck... has a mechanical feel to it... kinda Star Trekky

Too heavy and cumbersome for a little girlIt's a very weighty name, additionally, I don't like the -drom- part of the name. The meda part doesn't bother me though.

Little girls grow upand with such a long name like that I'm sure a natural nickname will come out of it naturally, even if it comes from baby speak.I don't particularly like the name but it is interesting and I think it is useable.

I think I'm just gonna citate my old message:
Andromeda
- A strong name that makes me think of stars and Ancient Greece. At the same time I don't really like the stroy behind it. You know, about the sea monster and Perseus? Here are a few pics: http://www.topofart.com/images/artists/Tiziano_Vecellio_Titian/paintings/titian003.jpg

But well, andr-names have always been Achilles' heel to me. I love them.
I think "med" is to you "MEED". I pronounce it "MED" and I really like that sound: Diomedes, Andromeda, Medea and Amedeo are all names I really, really like. Also, I like the cosmic feel Andromeda has. :)
