[Opinions] Some names I like oh and help with a Chinese name
Hello...so there are some new names I like and I was wondering what you think of them:
Isotta (I always though Isabella was so much better but now I'm realizing how pretty Isotta actually is)
Alessia
Alicia (I only like it pr. Ah-LEE-see-ah, I think it's really pretty but has been overused for so long)
Daisy (I asked opinions on it before but I'd like to know if you think it's nicknameish. Cause I actually don't think so at all I mean it's flower, right ?)
Lotus
Madita
Liv
Celie
Chiara (kee-AH-ra)
Liliana
How do you like the combos Emmeline Pearl and Daisy Elsa ?
Okay and I need a Chinese name (girl) for a story. I love Mei. But I'm not sure whether it's pronounced like May or "My" in Chinese. In Japanese it's a mixture of both, I think.
Then I also like Chen. How do you pronounce it ? I like Mei Chen as a name (called by both names) WDYT ? Does it work together ?
Isotta (I always though Isabella was so much better but now I'm realizing how pretty Isotta actually is)

Isotta-I've never heard this name before, but it's charming. I like Isolde, too.
Alessia-I zero in on the "less" part, and I can't concentrate on anything else.
Alicia-I prefer the A-leesh-ah pronunciation. A bit dated, though; I went to school with a lot of Alicias.
Daisy-it DOES seem a little nickname-y to me. Cute, but I would go with Margaret and call her Daisy, just so she would have other options when she grows up.
Lotus-kind of cool, but kind of ugly at the same time.
Madita-I don't like the sound of it. "Mad" names don't really do anything for me.
Liv-I like it. Reminds me of Liv Tyler.
Celie-reminds me of "The Color Purple".
Chiara-sounds made-up.
Liliana-not a big fan of "ana" names, and this is my least favorite of the bunch.

As far as I know, Mei Chen works.

The thing with names in China is that there is no such thing as a popular combo. Every parent choses a name for their child, without it really being a name. It's like every time a child gets named a new name gets invented, so every Chinese character can serve as a name. I hope that makes sense...
Anyway, back to Mei, I think Ya would work, Li as well, Ah not so much. Some possible combos:
Mei Lan (LAHN)
Mei Xu (SHOO)
Mei Fen
Mei Jiang (JYAHNG)
Mei Wen
Mei Xue (SHWEH)
