[Opinions] Re: Really?
Not all Greek mythological names are. Some, like Iris and Aglaia, I'm fine with as names on real people, but others, like Medea and Jocasta, are too much. I know that a lot of Greek mythology names are used as given names in modern Greece. However, certain names, like Zeus, people stay away from for obvious reasons. I personally would NEVER name my kid Herakles, Medusa, Oedipus, or Clytemnestra. It looks too pretentious.

I've gotta say, I agree with this.It seems a lot of people like Greek mythology names, but I always thought they sounded pretentious and out there. Everyone has their own taste, though.
