I love
Brigitte, both the French ("bri-ZHEET") and the
German ("bri-GHEE-tuh") pronunciations. I think you are going more for the French version, so I can pass along a wonderful combo I met in real life:
Brigitte Camille. I never used to like the name camille until I saw it in this combination. (That's the mark of a great combo, to me.)
I'm as name-nerdy as it gets and I pronounce
Liv as "liv." I know it should be pronounced "leev" but I can only see that pronunciaiton coming off as pretentious in the real work. Some names just sound different in different languages and there's no point swimming against the stream. Other names I would make the effort. But not with
Liv. (Go figure.)
I will not choose between the two until you end your petty, illegal and discriminatory listing practices. Hmphf. (Tongue set squarely in cheek.) Why limit yourself? I just don't get that at all. Doesn't a shorter list hamper your ability to make suggestions / combinations?
