I like Hope as a FN or MN , Faith is okay, i know a faith and it suits her, but they are EXTREMELY religious. But i dont think you need to be to use that name but it does kinda sound like churchy lol.

I prefer Faith to Fay... Of course, a good friend of mine is Amity Faith... It works really nicely as a middle name too.
Hope also works well if it's put with a suitable name...
Now all you need is Charity and your set is complete...

I love Hope but I prefer Faithful.

I love both names, Hope a bit more than Faith, but please do not use them both as first names. My friend Kristofer's little sisters are Alexis Love, Faith and Hope and the new one on the way is going to be Charity. Gag me.

Hope and Faith are kind of overused and usually stuck in the middle spot.

I adore both immensely as first names because of their meanings and simplicity. They are overused as middle names.

I find Hope to be unattractive. It doesn't have a pleasant sound and if it didn't have such a positive meaning I doubt anyone would think of using it as a name. Well, it's fine as a mn, I suppose. That would depend on what it was paired with.

Faith, on the other hand, is lovely. It's so soft and gentle. I wouldn't assume that a parent with a child named Faith was religious, but I try to judge people on an individual basis. I hate Fay, it sounds silly, so never use that.

I like both names a lot. I actually adore the sound of the name Faith but I could never use it because I think it does sound like the parents are religious and I am an atheist. I used to try and convince myself that it could stand for faith in oneself or in others...but to the general population it will always be associated with religious faith I think.
Hope is so cute and charming. I would probably use it as a mn myself though.

Of Fay and Faith, I prefer Faith. I don't like Fay at all.

I think these names are plain. Good for MN's, but FN's? Nah.

I'm not a fan of either. I used to like Hope when I was young, but I went off it.

I would use one for the middle name if I had a reason to. Depending on the first name, we may use 'Faith' but only because it's kind of an inside thin from when we started dating so it means something to us.
