[Opinions] Autumn?
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons. I've never considered using it as a name and thought maybe it was a bit corny but now I've got it in my head. It's been a bit of a GP for a while. The only Autumn I've ever come across is someone who dropped out of university and had a baby called Autumn-Lily.What do you think? Would you use it? If so, what combo would you use?

Autumn is my favourite season, so I've definitely thought about using it as a name. I do think I'd prefer it for a mn though and I'd also probably only use it if the baby was born in Autumn. I don't really have any favourite combos, I think it fits with a lot of names.

And I don't like most season or month names. I think it's pretty, and simple. I love the sound and the way it looks. I do think of a dark or auburn haired girl. I can't imagine a blond Autumn.I don't like Autumn-Lily, and wouldn't want to see it paired with another word name. hmmm...Autumn Marie

It's pleasant... I've met 2. One was a camper in my bunkhouse many years ago and was an awesome kid. The other was my mum's friend's grandchild that I didn't spend much time around and thus can't comment on.Autumn Theresa

I love Autumn; it's on my PNL. I would only name my daughter Autumn if she were born in season, though. Otherwise, it would just be strange.Possible combos I would use:Autumn Sofia
Autumn Elizabeth
Autumn Lorraine
Autumn Sylvia
Autumn Michaela (honoring my dad with this MN-I don't care if it's trendy)
Autumn Vivian
Autumn Danica (ooh, Autumn morning star! Perfect for a baby born at the break of dawn).
Autumn Marie (honoring mother)

I met an Autumn in college. Seemed smart but was a single mom with two kids, guys coming and going from her life, and she talked poorly about her mom. Really nice though.

My son-in-law's two year old niece is named Autumn. I don't know, I'm kind of on the fence about it. I love the season autumn also (which we usually call fall, but we're aware of the word autumn.) I think it's charming in a way. But when I really listen to it, I realize that the word autumn doesn't actually have an attractive sound, so how could it make an attractive name? That's my opinion.

I don't like word names so much, but Autumn is one of the few I find attractive. Isn't it the name of that girl who married the Queen's grandson last summer?Autumn Jane
Autumn Sylvia
Autumn Emily
Autumn Elena
Autumn Louisa
Autumn Julie

Autumn Kelly who married Peter Phillips. I'd forgotten about her. I remember pondering her name at the time of the wedding. It will be interesting to see what the next generation of royals will be called.

I guess she's a relatively minor royal, but it would be also interesting to see if the name rises in popularity because of her.

I really like it, I'd use it but with Skye as a sibling I'm not sure. I think Autumn Lily is pretty.
