What do you think of this name? What do you think of Jade, Arianna, Ione, and Moana? How do you pronounce Meriel? What do you think of Carissa?

I think Jade is kind of trashy, Arianna is okay, Ione is off-beat in a good way, Moana is fine as long as it's spelled Mona, and Meriel? I could take or leave. I pronounce it as Mare-i-elle.

Carissa sounds made-up.

I like Meriel, but I like Mariel better. Mare-ee-il.
Arianna is boring, Ione is odd, Mona is alright (I always think of the word 'moan' though).
I have a friend Carissa and one Corissa "Cori". It's a nice name.

Is there a way to combine Arianna and Melana as a new name? Is Iona better than Ione?

Well, I just mushed Arianna and Melana together. I think it works better for a male character, though.

I like Arimel for a boy. Meriel is okay. I think I prefer Mariel or Marielle. Carissa is fine. Jade is a bit trashy. I used to love it before it became so common. Moana is okay. I don't like the "Mo" part. I like Ione and Iona. Arianna is fine but I prefer Ariana and Adriana.

I like Meriel and also Miriel. I'd pronounce it 'MEH-ree-el' or 'MER-ee-el'.
I dislike Jade, Moana and Arianna. Ione and Carissa are.. meh.
None of that really matters, it is about what name fits with the characters, right?
