[Opinions] Re: Briana

1. It looks nicer than Brianna.
2. I'd pronounce it bree-AN-ah, but it makes me want to pronounce it BRIE-an-ah, which is the only pronunciation I like. Trouble is, I'm not sure if it's ever pronounced that way. :)
3. Briana
4. bree-AN-ah for all of them. I'd be more likely to pronounce Breanna bree-AH-na though. However, I really dislike that pronunciation.
5. No. bree-ANN
6. I dislike all of those. Breann and Breane I'd pronounce BREEN. Breanne I'd pronounce bree-ANN. Briane and Bryann I'd pronounce brie-ANN.
7. I suppose Briana/Brianna is classic, but the rest are rather trendy.
8. It's fairly common, I think. It seemed like it was popular in the late nineties or so. I don't know any myself, but I don't really know any kids outside of my family. I think Brianna would rarely be misspelled, but it would be mispronounced if you pronounce it bree-AH-na. I've rarely heard that pronunciation. It's always said bree-AN-ah. I think it will remain one of those middle-of-the-road names for awhile. Not too popular, but they're around.
