[Opinions] Sigourney
I really love this name-it's a Scandinavian name meaning "the conqueror." Strong, beautiful, perfect. The only problem is, would it be considered corny to name your child this because of Sigourney Weaver, even though it was a legitimate name before her? I guess there are worse actresses to share a name with you, though. At least S.W. is cool.

I think everybody would think you were a huge fan of Sigourney Weaver because Sigourney is a very unusual name kind of like Madonna or Cher. I don't like the sound of it.

so do II don't want to like it because it looks and sounds pretty ugly, but I don't know. It has a special something, that flows and makes me like it.

Sigourney is a French surname. I don't generally like surnames as first names, especially on girls, and this is no exception. It does have an interesting sound, though.
