I adore Marina. It's such a shame it's not used more often--it's gorgeous and has a lovely association with the ocean.Marisol is also very nice.

Marisol is unusual, but it's not my style. I'd much prefer Maria or Marianna :)

I'm unsure of the meaning of Marianna sorry, but as far as I'm aware it's a combination of Maria and Anna.
I prenounce it Marry-Ahn-A, but I'm not sure thats correct :)

Marisol makes me think of "parasol", and Marina has always been too frilly for me, but then I don't like most -ina names.

Spanish names are a guilty pleasure of mine and you just hit the spot. Marina and Marisol. Adorable. Que lindo.

Oh I just realized that they're perfect because of their similar meanings too. They remind me of mermaids. I'm picturing the sweetest little hispanic baby girls right now. I want one. Though my Polish boyfriend said he doesn't know how that's going to work = ).
