I would never use two names that are derived from the same source nor would I use two names that sound too similar, especially not for twins

I like Ian and Siân & Shane and Siân from your g/b list. I don't care for any of the b/b combos b/c it's basically the same name just different forms. The only girl one I cared for was Caitlín and Roisín.

Ian and Siân - They work, although I'm not very fond of Sian.
Ian and Jane - Sweet. I like this set.
John and Jane - Very boring, imo.
Shane and Jane - too rhymey.
Shane and Siân - Waaayy too matchy for siblings, let alone twins.
Sean and Siân - ...Aren't they pronounced the same? Even if they aren't, they are still WAY too similar for the same family.
Sean and Jane - Okay, although I dislike Sean.
Svetozar and Svatava - Too matchy.
Slavomir and Jarmila - I don't care for either name, but they work alright as a set.
Svatopluk and Svetlana - The double 'sv' beginnings make it too matchy, imo.
Slavoj and Svatava - Okay.
Stanislav and Svatava - Too similar.
Svatoslav and Jarmila - Nice.
Hynek and Jarmila - Good.
Vilem and Jarmila - I like this one.

I would stay away from the two names that are essentially the same name thing.
