There was a talk show that ran in San Francisco in 1994 named after the host, a young woman named Paget. The opening credits had what appeared to be a city street sign with her name on it, but it was just a sign from Page Street that had a "t" added to the end. She pronounced it like you have guessed: PAH-jet.

I liked the name about as much as the viewing audience liked the show. It barely lasted one season.
