Message: "Eleazar" - Behind the Name

What do you think of the name Eleazar? I've never given it much thought because I assumed it was pronounced uh-LEE-zar, which I don't like. Come to find out, it's ell-ee-AY-zar. D'oh.

Anywho, Eleazar, opinions? And do you prefer Elior?

I like it, but I wonder if it wouldn't be a bit of a mouthful. I just can't picture a real kid with this name.

I actually know someone names Eliezer, which is Prn'd the same way, and has almost identical meaning. I like his name, so I have to say I like Eleazar as well.
To me Elior looks like an incomplete name, so its something I do not like.

Eleazar has a really cool sound, but I prefer Elior. Eleazar is more of a GP kind of name to me.

Unfortunately not a fan of either. If I had to choose between I'd go for Eleazar as it sounds more finished than Elior.

I LOVE the name Eleazar, always have. It's such a hadsome Biblical name, which I love. Elior is also nice, as is Lior, which I prefer a bit more.
