[Opinions] Rimona/Ramona

So I have this name dictionary by Alfred Kolatch, and in it is the name Rimona. I've seen it many times before (Hebrew, meaning "pomegranate," which is a symbol of fertility), and I really like it. My question is, could I change the spelling to Ramona and keep the Hebrew authenticity, or have I just abandoned the Hebrew and made a Spanish name? What do you think of the name(s)?

They both have that ugly "moan" sound, which is a big turn off for me. I much prefer, Rowena.

When transliterating names from Hebrew to English (as an example), it is important to choose an English spelling that closely reflects the pronunciation of the name in Hebrew. 'rah-MOH-nah', spelled Ramona, would therefore not mean the same thing as a spelling reflecting the pronunciation 'ree-MOH-nah'. Rymona, Reemona, Rymonah, Reemonah, Riemona, Riemonah, etc., yes, but not Ramona.

I would keep it as Rimona, Ramona is a different name altogether. They're ok, but I prefer Romola.

I don't think Rimona and Ramona are pronounced the same. I guess Rimona is ree-MO-na and Ramona is rah-MO-na. I know several girls named Ramona. I don't really like either of them. Rimona makes me think of Rimini (Italian city and popular "party" / spring break destination).
