[Opinions] Grace

It's too popular right now. Gracie on its own: no way.
I think Grace is a very sweet name. There's a girl at my work named Grace and she'd be about 11 or something. I like both Grace nn Gracie and just Gracie.
I adore Grace
I love it so much. My best friend's name is Grace (and I am Emma and growing up we always liked how our names were uncommon) but I think even without that association I would like it.
...Possibly not though. There was a phase when I really disliked it because of the GR. But there is something so sweet and sprightly about it. Especially the -ace. Oh Grace! Grace becomes Gracie really easily and Gracie lends itself quickly and almost irresistibly to Gracie-Poo. Or maybe it's just because my friend Grace is so cute. I'm not sure.
Gracie's cute but man is it a nickname if there ever was one.
Anyway my Graciepoo is the only Grace I know.

I love it, first or middle. It was my grandmother's name, and now it's my daughter's middle name. I have known one Grace--back in school. She was very kind and pretty.
Gracie is a good nickname... not a full name. I think of Gracie Allen, who was always a bit of an icon in San Francisco where I'm from. I tried to get my daughter in famous Catholic school in the city, Star of the Sea, and the priest who is the principal made a huge deal out of how proud they are to have been the school of Gracie Allen. Apparently George Burns made a massive donation to the school after she died.

Grace
Grace is okay but overused. I have a niece named Grace that was just born recently. I also know a little girl in my church...3rd or 4th grade. My step-grandmother's name was Grace (she died last year in her 80's). I know a lot of people who are choosing Grace for a MN also.
I am not all that fond of Gracie as a given name, but as a nn for Grace it is cute.
I would never use the name Grace. Simply because I do know a few Graces and also because it is way popular. It kind of seems old to me too.

I have never liked the name Grace. I find it really boring. I know one who is aged about 80 and one aged about 20. But now it is one of the top girls names (in Britain) so there must be a lot running around. Gracie is cute but I don't like it much either. It surprises me that it's popular in the US because cute nickname names don't seem to have been popular recently.
There are many Graces & Gracies in our elementary school. K has two in his class that I know off. One is just Grace nn Gracie and the other is Grace-Anna (we have class rosters so I know this is her fn) and they call her Graciann. I personally have always loved the elegance of the name (I love Grace Kelly) but the popularity over the last couple years has turned me off from ever using it, even as a mn.
