1. I'd pronounced it "thah-LEE-ah" on first glance. I think "TAH-lee-ah" is much prettier, though. I don't know if one of those is correct.
2. I'm pretty sure the "th" sound does exist in Greek. That's what theta (θ) is for. I don't know on what part of the name the Greeks put the emphasis, though.
3. Just Thalia.

5. Well, it COULD lead to problems.
6. I don't think it sounds particularly nice and wouldn't use it.
