[Opinions] Hannah
I'm starting to like the name Hannah. I just recently thought about it again. I used to like it several years ago but it became so common and I forgot about it. Now I just realized that it has a really beautiful sound. It is also a family name. The sister of my grandma is named Hanna. I prefer Hannah, though. What do you think of Hannah ? How many Hannahs do you know and how old are they ? Do you think it's too common ? Do you think it wil make its way out of the top 100 anytime soon ? What kind of person would be named Hannah ?I wouldn't use it as a first name but might as a middle name. What are some good alternatives ? I like Channah as well but am not exactly sure of how to pronounce it.Do you prefer Hannah, Hanna or Hana ? I pronounce Hana more like HAHN-na and Hannah is HAN-na. In my country Hannah and Hanna are both HUN-na but I prefer HAN-na and the Hannah spelling because it is the same backwards.Do you like Anna better than Hannah ? I always thought Hannah was much prettier but Anna is nice and classic as well. Do you know more Annas than Hannahs ? Are the Hannahs younger ?How do you pronounce Channah ? I say it with that deep in your throat H. HAHN-nah.
I like Hannah Grace but it is probably the most common Hannah combo.wdytoDaisy Hannah
Zipporah Hannah (doesn't flow, does it ?)
Estella Hannah (same)
Emmeline Hannah
Aviva Hannah
Emmeline Hannah Pearl ?
Arielle Hannah
Daisy Hannah Mei for some reason it doesn't sound good with anything ahhhhhhh??????????????????

Hannah is okay. It's a nice name and pretty, but I know a lot of Hannah's. One is about 23 or so I guess. Other's are younger...little kids and babies.I love it for a middle name.Emmeline Hannah is lovely.

I used to like it, but I've sort of fallen out with it, maybe because of all the people here who say it's boring and overused.
Visually I prefer Anna overall, which I'd probably use as as a middle name because it's a family name.

I really don't like it at all. It always makes me think of chicken soup. I've never known one, but that's to be expected in my age group.

I love the name Hannah. I know a few that are in High School, one is my best friend. She is fun, unique, outgoing, smart, hilarious, and fashionable. I wouldn't rule it out as a first name, it's so cute! I perfer to spell it Hannah, and I think that Channah would sound like SHAN-uh and I don't really like it. I like Anna too but Hannah sounds more fun. A few combos to think about:
Hannah Elisabeth
Caitlin Hannah
Hannah Rose
Madeleine Hannah
Hannah Noelle

I know one Hannah and one Anna in my age group. There are 9 Annas 10 and up in my school district (plus an Annalisa and an Anna Marie). The class with the most is the Freshmen, with 4. There are 22 Hannahs in my school district (age 10 and up), as well as one faculty member. The seventh and fifth grades have the most, with 5 each. (None are in my grade though, wow!) No Hanna or Hana's though.I don't like Hannah at all. It's too popular, and I always picture this kinda chubby 8 year old with brown eyes and brown pigtails. She wears pink overalls and strikes me as a spoiled brat. Which isn't a big deal, I guess, except she doesn't ever grow up. I cannot even imagine a 30 year old Hannah. Like it just seems like such a little kid name to me. (But then again, I feel very similarly about Andrew, except he'd be 10 and a blond w/ blue eyes and probably not in overalls). lol. /detailI do love Anna though. I dunno, it's so simple and pretty and I can see it at every age. Dunno how to say Channah. I think in a video, Serel Channah said HAHN-NA, but I don't recall exactly. I guess a gutteral H. I like Aviva Hannah / Hannah Aviva. Emmeline Hannah is good too. Hannah seems a bit difficult to match as a MN. Try names not ending in A, I'd guess. Some ideas. Most of these are probably flippable.Abigail Hannah
Aurora Hannah / Hannah Aurore

Hannah was my absolute favorite name growing up. I had a doll named Hannah, and I planned on naming my daughter Hannah one day. Then I grew up, and realized it was boring and bland (for me). It also got insanely popular, and everyone started giving the name to their daughter. It's still a cool name, though. I know I said it was boring and bland a second ago, but that's just my personal opinion. I've known a lot of Hannahs, and most of them have been very nice, talented people.

My name is Hannah :)I will admit that it is EXTREMELY popular in my area. I'm one of six Hannah's in my grade alone and I know at least three others. (One age 16, one age 15, one age 5.) Here's I pronounce all of them:Hannah - HAN-ah
Hana - HAH-nah
Hanna - HAN-ah or HON-ah
Channah - CHHAH-nah (guttural "h" sound)
Hania - HAHN-yahI like Hannah Aviva (flipped from Aviva Hannah.) Daisy Hannah Mei is pretty cute, too. What about:Hannah Caroline
Hannah Marissa
Hannah Laurel
Hannah Jane (I know a Hannah Jane and a Hannah Jayne)
Hannah Iris / Isis
Hannah Olivia
Hannah Penelope
Hannah Eve
Hannah Victoria
Hannah Vivian
Hannah Veronica
Hannah Deirdre

I know lots of Hannahs: me and four or five others my age.
Yes, Hannah is a nice name. But it is so overused. I always wished I was named Anna or something else.I dislike Hannah Grace because Hannah means 'grace'.

Isn't Anna just as overused ? I know three Hannas and one Hannah but at least 20 Annas.

I live in the UK. All I can say is that in my school year there were five Hannahs and one Anna.
