This is a great name and not at all masculine (thank the opera). However if you want a more traditionally feminine sounding name, pick a middle name that end in "ie" or "y" or maybe "a."

I love Carmen. I know a little girl who is half Spanish (yes, actually Spanish) named Carmen Elena. From your list I like Carmen Iris and Carmen Diana the best.

Carmen is ultra-feminine to me because of the Bizet opera character and Brazilian songstress, Carmen Miranda (she of the banana head-dress.) I don't see / hear "car men" at all. Carmen is one of those underappreciated classics that deserves more attention. It has a strong, regal quality to it.From your list, I like Carmen Iris and Carmen Diana the best. May I try?Carmen Julia
Carmen Ruby
Carmen Olivia
Carmen Lydia
Carmen Lilia
Carmen Leandra
Carmen Isabel / Isobel / Isabelle
Carmen Alexandra
Carmen Veronica / Veronique
Carmen Eliza
Carmen Victoria
Carmen Gisele / Giselle (an opera and a ballet heroine in one name)
Carmen Marguerite
Carmen Danielle
Carmen Aurelia
Carmen Aurora
Carmen Serena
Carmen Renata
Carmen Jamila
Carmen VanessaSorry for any repeats. You like?If you can't shake your doubts, there's always Carmel / Carmela.

The masculine version is Carman... When one sees it with an e, it's automatically fem. I think it's nice and not overused.Preferences from your list:
1.Carmen Amity
2.Carmen Adelaide
3.Carmen Cynthia
4.Carmen Violet
5.Carmen Alice
6.Carmen Sylvie or Sylvia

I love this name, though I would not necessarily use it. I don't find it at all masculine, I hear the sounds but find them to be rather lyrical and pretty. I also think this is one of many very strong feminine names. Carmen Adelaide is gorgeous, and I also like Carmen Violet and Carmen Cynthia.
