Thank you so much...Is there a glottal stop in it? It seems like the sort of thing that would have one.

Yes, both Sven and Svend have got this kind of Danish glottal stop called "stød".

Yes they doYes, in Danish they both do have the stød. In Danish there are the variant forms Svende and Svenne (both pronounced SVEN-neh) without a stød. They are not very common though.
