What are your thoughts on Charmaine? I've always liked it and thought it had a very regal feel to it. But I've always had a hard time w/ the fact that it sounds like Chow Mein. Also (not to get too Kr8tyv, but living in New England the -maine at the end reminds me of the state...) wdyto different spellings?

I prefer Charmian..

Pronounced with the 'K' sound.

I know a lady named Charmain, I always thought it was awkward. IDK...I never liked it.

It's a cool name (like anything from Shakespeare!) but a bit OTT. Don't change the spelling, I'd rather have "maine" in New England than a mangled name.
