So my husband really likes the name Fisher. I told him I thought it was okay, I'm not in love with it- but I can see why he likes it. My hubby is a very outdoorsy guy, he liked the name Hunter, but it is so popular and overused...

So anyway do you like Fisher?
Which spelling is better Fisher or Fischer?
WDYT the combo: Fisher Lawrence

Any other MN suggestions? Any other outdoors/sportsman names that you can think of?

Sorry, but I think it's really horrible. "Fish" just isn't a very good thing to have in a name. But if you must use it, I'd use Fisher. Fischer is German and, well, we never use surnames as first names, so at least Fisher works.

I am not very fond of er names but Hunter and Fisher are the best of them. Much better than Asher, a pet peeve I guess.

Some friends of mine have grandsons named Hunter and Fisher. I like the sp Fisher.
