(Fact => Nathan and Roisin can tell the twins apart because despite the fact that they are identical twins, they have different eye color. This is a very rare case (2%) and often the different eye color remains only in infancy, then slowly fades and eventually become the same. Roisin and Nathan really hope the different eye color stays for the rest of the twins' lives (Dahlia: Green / Amaryllis: Blue) but you never know...)
DD: Branwen Karishma (7)
(Name fact => The couple chose the name Branwen for their little girl, not necessarily because it was a royal name, but because of its meeaning: Beautiful raven. Little Branwen was born with raven black hair, and as the months passed, one could tell she would be a beauty; thus she was named Branwen. (Karishma: miracle))
AD: Lilavati Olena "Vala" (8)
(Fact => Roisin and Nathan adopted Vala because her parents were good friends of theirs. Lilavati's mother had died at child-birth four years ago, and now, unfortunately, her father Arun, a journalist, died in an automobile accident on one of his travels. Roisin and Nathan are devasted, and feel the least they can do is care for their late friend's child, little Vala.)

(Name Fact => Nalene is her nickname even though her parents like the name Nephele. However, Roisin's mother, who's also called Nephele, refuses to call her grandaughter by the same name, because "its too confusing". So she nicknamed her Nalene (pronounced: Naleen) which uses solely letters from Nephele Roxanna's name.)

(Fact => They met in College (Medical School), and the instant Dera set eyes on Elijah, she knew he was her man. So she asked him out. They dated for a long time - almost 3 years - and as far as they could see, they were still madly in love. Elijah, being the gentle and shy one gave her options and was willing to wait for her to finish Medical School, and so two and a half years went by without any advancements. Finally, Dera proposed to him. He laughed at the switch of roles that night in the park but then all humour vanishing from his face, he proposed back to her and they both accepted each other's proposal with a tight embrace and... and. Well, Roisin and Nathan were delighted, as were Dera's parents. Now they have their own house and live happily with their blue-eyed husky, Sinou.)

(Name Fact => Both Elijah and Desideria being passionate doctors (Elijah: neurologist, and Dera: Surgeon)They decided to give little William Lance his name in admiration of William Osler the "Father of Modern Medicine")

(The couple decided to adopt Meredith, the daughter of Welsh immigrants, who had died 5 years ago. She had been taken in the orphanage when she was 5, and still nobody showed up to adopt her. She spent most of her childhood growing up in the orphanage and reached her ten years with slim prospects of ever being adopted. Dera's philanthropic insticts - which were also responsible for her becoming a doctor - were now telling her to adopt this child and offer it a decent life despite its age - or rather, because of its age and slim prospects. They heard of Meredith from a friend social worker.)

(Elijah and Dera thought that they wouldn't adopt another child - especially so close to their last adoption. But soon after Meredith's adoption, the couple got involved in volunteer work. Only a year later they were spending some time at the orphanage when the saw little Dragomir. Elijah instantly connected with the blond little toddler, and Dera had to agree; the little boy was a vision. To make a long story short, he became a new member of the family. Here I must add, that everyone marveled at how Elijah and Dera coped - what with being doctors, volunteering, and caring for 5 children! But they did fine.)

(Dragomir and Aurelia met at a Writing Seminar in England, and it wasn't love at first sight. The blond, grey-eyed Hungarian was instantly taken aback when he first set eyes on the tanned Italian beauty. And he pursued her, but she was difficult to impress - what with so many admirers, she had steeled herself against any flirtatious attempts from men to win her over; especially the tall hansome ones who were almost always so arrogant and full of themselves. So she payed little attention to Dragomir's overwhelming determination. Finally, by the end of the two-week seminar she had given in. That was the beggining of a long relationship!)
DS: Beniamino Taddeo "Ben" (12)
(Ben was born with dark eyes like his mother, but curiously, bright auburn hair. The couple couldn't trace this genetic trate to anyone in their families, on either side. It sure arose suspicions! But then again, there was always the remaining factor that Dragomir had been an adopted child... Other than that, it was obvious Ben was Dragomir's and Aurelia's. He had inherited the best from both of them. Sure to be a handsome young man.)
DD/DD/DD: Layla Selena / Andalusia Saphira "Lusia" / Mirella Serena (8)
(Aurelia thought that one kid was a handful! Little did she know that she'd have to juggle three sweet, squirming, squeeling little girls all at the same time. The diapers, the feeding, bathing...! Life got a whole lot harder. She even had to quit her job as a journalist, so now Dragomir is the full-time working dad. But they can pull it through!)
DS: Royams Holden "Roy" (2)
(Royams was born on the 29th of Febuary. Aurelia and Dragomir felt sorry for poor Royams, and they regret not choosing a date, and just waiting for the birth. Now Roy will only have a birthday every 4 years!)

(Kvothe is a fictional character from the book "The Name of the Wind". Ben and Aurelia had read it recently, and when Ben saw his little brother, who shared the same unusual charachteristic as him, he instantly thought of the charachter Kvothe. In the book, Kvothe is the protagonist, and he has flame red hair and grass green eyes, and much to the whole family's surprise, so does little Kvothe! Though Ben and Kvothe have different eyecolor (Ben: black and Kvothe green) their hair is the same, and so from early on Ben has become very close with him. Now those old rumors that had once circulated about Ben's true parentage *ehem* have been put aside for good! Dragomir must have had strong red hair in his family!)
