[Opinions] Twin boys
An old friend of mine had twin boys last week. She named them Konner Lee and Kaler Lee. I have to say I'm not happy, but the boys are very cute so I can deal with it. I think the reason I dislike them so much is because the parents are named Kara Lin and Kyle Lee. I just wish there was more variety, everything matches too much.
Anyways, wdyt?

I don't like the fact that both boys have the middle name Lee.
I could understand if they wanted to use Lee for one boy but not both.
Other than the names being very similar and the repeated initials of KL, the names aren't horrible. Congrats to your friend!

I think several things.
1. They used the same middle name for both boys? Ugh.
2. They both start with K and you can tell it was most likely done on purpose? Less ugh, but still ugh.
3. I do like Connor, and maybe even Conner, but not so much Konner because I don't like K (on top of already having an e instead of an o).
4. Kaler is so trendymadeup. There's a little boy at my church named Kaeler, so at least this is a little better. He has a little sister named Ellery. :(
5. But yay twin boys! Congratulations to them!

Congratulations to you and your friends. Nice to hear the boys are doing well.
Like you, their names do not appeal to me. I love Conor, but Konner is a horrible spelling. I know they wanted a "k" theme, but there are plenty of great K names to choose from. But at least Conor / Konner is a recognizable name. Kaler escapes me.
I dislike obvious themes like siblings starting with the same letter. Way too cutesy. And if they have more children, will they feel constrained in the chains of their own making?
When will people learn to check with me first? ;-)

Ugh, honestly, I think they're both terrible. But lucky Konner at least has a name that resembles a real one... somehow.
