I like Kamil and the sound of it. I know it won't be confused for Camille where you are from. :-)

I like it a lot. I agree that people might think it was Camille, though. But I don't think it's that big of a problem and I would still use it if I loved it. What about Kamal or Khalil? They sound similar and would avoid people thinking it was Camille.

I like Camille....

I'd prefer Camille and for a girl.

I don't care for it in English because most people will confuse it with Camille and won't know that Camille is in fact a unisex name. It will just sound too feminine.

I like the way it looks/sounds, but it doesn't work that well for me because it's a masculine name that would be pronounced the same as Camille (correctly or not), which is very feminine to me.
