[Opinions] Aurora
I know it is kind of princessy, but Aurora has grown on me by leaps and bounds. And I have to admit, I am liking the idea of Rory as a sometimes NN. But it needs a combo. Suggestions would be appreciated. Also, what would you think of sisters Sophia / Sophie, Aurora / Rory, and Noelle?

I can't say much since I simply adore this name, which is in a very high position on my list of favorites. I don't like the nn Rory, though, I'd prefer something more delicate and feminine, like Aura.
Here are some combos:
Aurora Celeste
Aurora Isabelle/Isabel
Aurora Jasmine
Aurora Angelique
Aurora Celine
Aurora Sadie
Aurora Willow
Aurora Beatrice
Aurora Gisele
Aurora Grace
Aurora Hope
Aurora Eve

Aurora Felice
Aurora Edith
Aurora Frances
Aurora Opal
Aurora PearlI actually think Aurora Noelle would be a pretty combo, too.I can see the sibset Aurora, Sophia, and Noelle working.

I have Aurora Sophia on my list of Aurora combos. =DI think Aurora and Sophia make a lovely sister set; Noelle is very pretty too, but seems a tad out of place. Nonetheless, the three work well enough together.I have a few other Aurora combos. Remember my habits of themes, assonance and alliteration. ;pAurora Fortisa
Aurora Glory
Aurora Lorelei
Aurora Mary
Aurora Orianne
Aurora Scarlett
Aurora Socorro
Aurora Sunset
Aurora Twilight

Aurora Scarlett is very pretty, but would meaning "red dawn" be weird? Her initials would be ASK hehe.

Aurora is a beautiful name and the nick name Rory would be precious!
One of the youth pastors at my church had a daughter a while back and named her Aurora Kate. I think it's pretty.I can see Aurora, Sophie and Noelle being sisters. Aurora Noelle is a nice name as well.

Aurora has been in my top three for a few years now. And I always thought I would use Rory as a nickname.

If I help you with a mn, you have to promise not to use Rory as a nn, OK? Please? I don't mind well-known boy's names as girls' nns, like Georgia, nn Georgie. I find that very cute. But uncommon ones like Rory are in danger of "turning" permanently female. [Sorry to whine, it's just this is a pet peeve of mine. I watch the shrinking pool of male names almost as closely as the shrinking ice caps.]Aurora Celeste (too cutesy?)
Aurora Phoebe
Aurora Delphine
Aurora Lilith
Aurora Maeve
Aurora Dagmar
Aurora Niobe ("NIE-uh-bee")
Aurora Christabel
Aurora Liv
Aurora Damaris
Aurora Veronique
Aurora Isabeau
Aurora Daphne
Aurora Thais
Aurora Vivien
Aurora Melusine
Aurora SylvieSophie, Aurora and Noelle (Noe"l) sound great together to me. :-)

Ah! I don't know if I can make that promise. *shifty eyes*But I do love a fwe of your suggestions. That I now have to ignore. Man, this sucks for both of us. OK, what if I just promise to reconsider the nn Rory? OK.Aurora Isabeau is so cute. Isabeau reminds me of a friend I know who loves it, and I'm not sure how'd she feel about my using it, but I never gave her a hard time about Isabeau, I just never saw it for myself, but it does balance out Aurora. I also like it with Vivien. And seeing the three together here made me realize that they mean wisdom, dawn, and Christmas. Doesn't get much better!
