1. What do you think of Kira?
I like it, I have a cousin called Ciara who often gets her name mispronounced as Ci-AR-a.
2. Do you think it's too trendy and will sound dated in a few years? Is it one of those names that isn't really popular but feels so trendy because it's close to popular names such as Kayla?
I don't think Kira is trendy at all, I think it'll be a round for a while too, thanks to Keira Knightley.
3. Will people mispronounce it as KY-ra all the time? How would you pronounce it?
I pronounce Kira like KEE-ra, I think there may be a few who pronounce it Ky-ra but they can be easily corrected :)
4. How would you spell it if you wanted it pronounced the way I do, KEE-ra?
I would probably spell it Keira to avoid the Ky-ra pronunciation and because I personally think this looks best after Ciara (But this would have pronunciation problems than Kira, probably)
5. Do you know anyone named KEE-ra? How do they spell it? How old are they and do you happen to know their middle names?
I know two, a Ciara and a Kiera. One is 13 and one is 18. I'm unsure of their middle names.
6. Do you think it will rise in popularity? top 100?
Probably. Like I said Keira Knightley will have a lot to do with it :)
