Yes, I know of two Veronicas, although I don't know them personally. The first is Veronica Lodge from the Archie Comics (who also goes by Roni, although I think they may spell it "Ronni"). The second is this girl who was working at the drive-thru window last week at Wendy's. She was real pretty, though. She had a pearl necklace. She seemed nice, if I recall correctly....
I am quite fond of the name Vera. It seems like a harder sort of name, like for a more confident girl who doesn't smile a whole lot and has her eyebrow pulled up questioningly all the time. But I suppose it could work for anyone.
