Welcome Avdotya and Mitsuko
Avdotya "Dunya" Fedora is a two year old girl from Russia. She has light blond hair and greenish blue eyes. Her mother died when she was less than a year old and her father couldn't take care of her so he recently gave his daughter up for adoption. He would like to still be able to talk and occasionally visit her, however. Dunya is talkative and very active. She is probably going to have ADHD when she is older. Dunya likes dolls and cats. She has a pet cat named Klava.
Mitsuko is a one year old girl from Japan. She has black hair and black eyes. Mitsuko was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis not longer after she was born and although her mother tried to take care of her she couldn't so she gave her daughter up for adoption. She would like to still be able to see Mitsuko sometimes. Mitsuko is a happy baby who does not like to sleep. Mitsuko enjoys walking and playing with toys.
It would be great to hear how the girls are doing!

We decided to keep Avdotya Fedora's name, but now her English nickname is Ava. We have changed Mitsuko's name to Miriam Hanako, and we call her Miri.
It's been a year since we got the girls and they are doing wonderfully. Ava loves our kitten, and Sophia and Madeline love Klava. Ava has calmed down a lot since she came to us and now is just an active little girl who doesn't show signs of ADHD. She loves to play with her sisters and run around our backyard. She has also learned a lot of English and loves to talk.
Miri is still small for her age because of her illness but she is on several medications that have helped tremendously. She is usually healthy and loves to color and play with her big sisters. Her speech is delayed so she has been seeing a speech therapist, but is rapidly improving.
Thank you so much for our lovely daughters!
