I much prefer Maisie, and even then I slightly prefer it as a nn.
I do know a Maizie, but it's a nn. She's 3 years old, and her full name is Mabel Audrey Z(lastname). Her fn and mn are after her late grandmothers, and she's been called Maizie from day one. I think it's sweet.
