It would be weird. Plus Locke is the German word for "curl" (not that it would matter in an English speaking country). But it seems like the parents were really trying to sound educated by choosing the name but it just comes across as trying too hard and in my opinion it would be kind of dumb, just like Bronte which I find trashy as a first name. How about John? That would be kind of unusual these days.
