Those are the 2 names I've had in my mind recently. Arrigo is an old-fashioned, little-used version of Enrico.

Also, I encountered Mila in a novel and it's growing on me, though I wonder if it's not a bit nicknamey (but I don't particularly like Ludmila and so forth).

I like Mila quite a bit, actually. It's a nice, feminine, but utterly unfrilly name. I don't think it's too nicknamey. It makes me think of Milla Jovovich. Hope that's not a bad association for you... :o)

Arrigo doesn't do it for me. I think "arrogant" immediately.

I really like Mila (I pronounce it My-lah). I think I like it because I love Milo so much!
