I love the name Annabelle. I think it's really classic and girly.

Hey, that's my nickname. My brother and a dear friend from childhood still call me that. (I'm an Ann.)I can recommend it whole heartedly. I prefer the Annabel spelling though, after reading "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allen Poe. A very beautiful poem. Are you looking for mns yet?

I like it a lot. If I get the chance I may use it on one of my children.

I used to love Annabel. It was one of my favorites and high on my list. Lately I haven't liked it as much. I don't know why. Maybe a girl I know has ruined it for me. She spells it Annabelle and she is just superficial and bitchy (excuse the bad language but this word describes her best). I also dislike how there are several ways to spell it and so far I've seen Anabel, Anabell, Anabelle, Annabell, Annabel and Annabelle. Annabel and Annabelle are the only usable ones if you ask me, though Anabel might work in Spanish speaking countries.I much prefer Annabel over Annabelle. Annabelle is fine, don't get me wrong, but I find it a bit frilly and Annabel is just charming. It reminds me of the poem Annabel Lee, which I like a lot. It's weird how I think Annabelle is frilly but Annabella is not. I like Annabella a lot. Can I interest you in Annabel or Annabella? So yeah even though I wouldn't use them I have a soft spot for Annabel and Annabella. Oh and just to warn you, I think Annabelle will get quite popular in the next few years but then leave the charts along with Isabel and Isabella and sound a bit dated.

I've noticed that it's climbing up the Aussie name charts, and there was an Aussie politician (many years ago) called Annabelle.
I think it's very pretty, but prefer the more classic Annabel.

It's a beautiful name, maybe a bit fluffy, but also lends itself well to nicknames. I'd consider spelling it Annabel, just to avoid the very "palindrome-ish" look of Annabelle. My car is named Annabel... long story.I also know an adorable 3 year old named Annabelle.

I like it and use it on Sims, but no one else I know likes it much.
I think they find it too "fluffy", if you know what I mean.:)Danielle
