Elizabeth is my favorite. I don't really like Elisabeth. I want to pronounce it i-LEE-sa-beth, which I guess is close to the German pronunciation. But I don't really like it said that way.
My favorite nicknames are Lily, Libby, and Ellie. Eliza and Liz/Lizzie are alright too.
My Elizabeth combo is Elizabeth Claire, I think. I would consider using Elizabeth because my middle name is Elyse (Claire for my grandfather, btw). But my husband has crossed it off the list anyway. :)
Edit: Oh, and I suppose you gathered that I like it, since I'd consider using it and all. :P I think it's very simple and classic, and very pretty. I just love to say it.
