[Opinions] Nerida, Ruzena, or Arcadia?
These two I have been stuck with. I also still don't get why people pronounce Sorrel 'SOR-uhl' at first glance. To me it doesn't even look like that, I had always pronounced it sor-EL before seeing the 'pronounciation'. Incorrect or not, I think I prefer it that way and stick to the pronounciation I used and still do.

RuženaI like Ružena, when it's pronounced Ruzhena. Good luck getting people to do that, though. Sorrel is SOR-el to me. :-)

DittoIt's a really gorgeous name. And not only do Eastern European names sound beautiful, they look beautiful written down, too. I love how many of them have sharp, pointy letters. Plus, isn't it lovely how so many Eastern European names are not JUST harsh, nor are the JUST soft, they're a combination of the two. For example, the "Ru" in Ružena is a harsh sound, but the "zh" in Ružena is a soft sound. Oh my goodness I love names like that so very much.

Agree! You put that nicely. Ružena is one of the few "rose" names that don't strike me as completely flaccid.
