Because of the Redwall book series by Brian Jacques, I can never take this seriously as a name. They use it as a war cry. :\
And I pronounce it the same way you do, but I'm not sure if it's right either.
Kinda OT, but I'm hoping Brian Jacques will write a novel explaining the origin of the war cry, and hopefully it would be a name, thus making me see and appreciate it as such. :]
