Evie is slowly adjusting into our family. She is having therapy because of her many problems and has already made some progress with her anger management issues. She still refuses to speak, but mainly uses sign language to communicate with us. Evie likes to play with our daughter Reese who is also non-verbal and they have quite similar interests. In the near future we're going to see a therapist who is an elective mutism specialist and we hope that she can help Evie with her communication problems. Evie has been very happy to find out that we have a dog because she loves dogs and has always wanted to have one.

A year has gone by and the kids are all doing well. We have been helping Daisy with her anger management problems and she is getting better with dealing with her anger. Connor is also doing well and he is now not only close with Daisy but also with our other kids. Isabela and Luca are also doing well. Isabela is planing to go to college, but she will live at home so she can see Luca every day. Luca is already very good at English. It's amazing how fast kids learn English. Carmen is doing great and has joined a softball team.

Moises Isandro is eight years old and from Argentina. He comes from a strict Catholic background, and his parents died in a serious car accident when he was younger. Moises is an outgoing boy who loves football, animals and video games, and speaks fluent Spanish. He has a grandfather who lives in Buenos Aires who wants to remain in contact with Moises and his siblings.
Carlito Jesús is also eight years old, and is Moises' triplet brother. He is less outgoing than his brother, and is very intelligent. His interests include reading, classical music and computers.
Viviana Encarnación is the third triplet, sister to Carlito and Moises. She is very girly, and enjoys sewing, art and playing with animals. She adores cats, and collects stuffed animals. She is very easily offended and is very close to Moises.
Fariha Arwa is a thirteen-year-old Lebanese girl. She is a Muslim and is quite shy, but very good-hearted. Her mother was very ill prior to her death, and Fariha was her primary carer for several years. Fariha enjoys cooking, sewing and music. She speaks only Arabic, but picks up languages quickly.
Viktor Danilo is a fifteen-year-old boy from Croatia. He speaks Croatian, English and Spanish, and has Asperger Syndrome. He loves anything to do with cars, and collects model cars. Fariha Arwa is a thirteen-year-old Lebanese girl. She is a Muslim and is quite shy, but very good-hearted. Her mother was very ill prior to her death, and Fariha was her primary carer for several years. Fariha enjoys cooking, sewing and music. She speaks only Arabic, but picks up languages quickly.
Viktor Danilo is a fifteen-year-old boy from Croatia. He speaks Croatian, English and Spanish, and has Asperger Syndrome. He loves anything to do with cars, and collects model cars. Moises and Viviana are inseparable, and are doing quite well together. Moises taught the others how to play sports and video games. We also occasionally contact his grandfather.

We want to thank you so much for the new members of our family. We can't tell you how very happy we all are!
Simona, now a year and a half, is absolutely charming. She is constantly laughing, smiling, and trying to make everyone else laugh. She is hitting all her developmental milestones right on time, and shows no signs of delays. She speaks very well, and loves to sing. We can already tell she is a very imaginative child.
Ayuru is now 7 and enrolled in a private school where he can receive some extra help with his school work. He is in the first grade. While he still struggles some with reading, he is an absolute whiz at math! He's even started learning his multiplication tables! He is on a soccer team, and really enjoys playing. He also loves to play outside, and has made many good friends in our neighborhood. He speaks to his aunt once a week on the phone, and we plan to go visit out in California this fall.
Kolya is a fourth grader at the same school as Ayuru. He is a very bright child, and learned English much more quickly than we imagined. He takes his schoolwork seriously, and really excels in all subjects. He is very shy, but has made a few close friends in school and in the neighborhood. His anxiety issues are still present, but have decreased over the past several months. We enrolled him in counseling early on to help him deal with things from his past that frighten him, and he is making great progress. He is very creative, and is a great artist. He also recently started taking gymnastics, which he loves! He is a great help to both of us in caring for the dogs.
We couldn't have asked for a better family. Thank you again!

Simona, now a year and a half, is absolutely charming. She is constantly laughing, smiling, and trying to make everyone else laugh. She is hitting all her developmental milestones right on time, and shows no signs of delays. She speaks very well, and loves to sing. We can already tell she is a very imaginative child.

Joshua Stephen is a seven-year-old boy from Manchester, whose hobbies include computers and playing with toy cars, which he also collects. He has Asperger Syndrome and a father who would like to remain in contact with him. His mother has passed away fairly recently and his father was unable to care for him and his brother, due to their disabilities.
Alexander David is Joshua's three-year-old brother. He enjoys football and playing with other children, and has some behavoiral problems. His father wishes to keep in touch with him.
Rhiannon, Carys and Olwen are newborn Welsh triplets, with no known family. They were named by their foster parents, and can be renamed if their adoptive family wishes. They have no hobbies yet.
