1916: Rose gave birth to twins, Edith & Alice.

1917: Rose gave birth to another set of twins, Michael & Howard. Thomas, Samuel and Paul all enrolled in the army.

1918: Fortunetly for the Dawson family, all three of their eldest sons came home unharmed from the war.

1921: Rose became pregnant again, but the baby got stuck in her felopian tubes and the doctors removed both tubes during surgery incapabling her of having anymore children. Thomas got married to Victoria Moore.
