I love Amelie and Mathilde. I like Aurore but I think the prn could be tricky for some people. I'm not crazy about Clothilde - I think it sounds and looks kind of old fashioned. Other French names you might like - Ophelie
Maelle
Maelys
Manon
Oceane

Clothilde is NMS. I think I'm put off by the "CLOT".
Mathilde is gorgeous. I love Matilda in most forms; great meaning, too.
Aurore is NMS. I don't like the sound of all the R s.
Amélie is cute, but all I think of is the film! How about:
Marianne
Eleonore
Pauline
Joséphine
Amandine
Jeannette

I'm not a fan of Clothilde or Mathilde, but then again I don't really like the th sound. Aurore and Amelie are pretty. I personally love the name Colette.

Josee, Josette
Joanie (This is very popular just now. Don't know why, something cultural I'm missing, I suppose.)It's pronounced "Jo-ann-ee", rather than the English "Joan-ee."

I like Clothilde and Mathilde...However, they might fit best in the middle name position.
