Rebecca Romijn and her husband Charlie O'Connell's twins are named Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. WDYT
I dont like nicknames as given names and the flower names are at the ends are two matchy. They could have gopne with Rebecca Rose and Tamara Tulip.

His name is Jerry O'Connell, the dad
Interesting
Dolly is really, really not my thing. I've always hated the way it looks and sounds, and the image it conjures up in my head.
Charlie is great as a nickname for Charles, on a boy. I'm not a fan of it on its own, nor am I a fan of it on a girl. However, as far as boy-nicknames-as-girl-full-names go, it's not terrible. I would've prefered Charlotte, or Charlie as a middle name, though.
I'm really digging the alliteration they have going with the middle names. Rebecca Rose and Tamara Tulip are rockin'. I confess that Tulip is sort of a GP, and I think it works well in the middle name slot.
I appreciate that they used a lot of honouring names. It always seems like that makes names have more value, you know?

I like Rose and Tulip
I just tried to post this because I missed this post. Oops. :b
As has already been said, it's Jerry O'Connell, but one of the babies is named Charlie after his brother.
I'm not fond of Dolly or Charlie (the latter I do like for a boy), esp. as given names. And they both in the -lee sound, which is a bit too cutesy for me. But I like the honoring aspect of the fn's and mn's (though it would be a bit odd to have a little girl Charlie and an UNCLE Charlie in the same family, lol). The Rose and Tulip are too cutesy for me, too. I don't find the pair of names horrible, though. Maybe just because I like the parents both so much, I can overlook the names (at least they're not way over the top or super trendy ;b).

All honoring! (From celebrity baby blog):
It’s not one, but two baby girls for actors Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, their rep confirms. Fraternal twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose O’Connell and Charlie Tamara Tulip O’Connell arrived on Sunday, December 28th in California. Dolly is in honor of Dolly Parton, while Charlie is assumed to be for Jerry’s brother and Tamara for Rebecca’s sister.
So all the names, except Rose and Tulip, are honoring.
I like Rebecca Rose and Tamara Tulip, but Dolly is hideous and I love Charlie for a boy.
EDITED: I guess Tulip is also honoring, since Rebecca is Dutch and tulip is the national flower of Netherlands.

Dolly Rebecca Rose - The Rebecca Rose part is okay but Dolly is nms.
Charlie Tamara Tulip - Unlike the first I hate the middle names in this combo. Despite tulips being my favorite flower I don't like it as a name. I would have liked it better if they used the name Charlotte and called her Charlie.
Overall the combos are nms but being celebrities it could have been a lot worse.

She is actually married to Jerry O'Connell so they used his brother's name. Nonetheless, I don't care for either name.
I don't like how they stuck their own names into both combos.
Dolly Rebecca Rose - I dislike Dolly, it reminds me of a dog we used to have. Rebecca Rose would have been fine though
Charlie Tamara Tulip - I really dislike Charlie on a girl, I love it on a boy though, Tamara is nice but not my style and I really dislike Tulip. There are so many other nice flower names (Lily, Daisy, Jasmine, Magnolia, Petunia, Violet, Primrose, the list goes on)
ETA: I just remembered this, but Tulip reminds me of a really dumb and annoying goat my aunt used to have, so it's not pretty to me

Dolly is terrible on its own. Way too cutesy and dated at the same time. They should have gone with Dolores, Dolly sounds like the name of a dumb blond girl or a porn star. It also reminds me of Jennifer Anistons' dog. Rebecca is nice and I like how they named her after her mom. I like Rose but I wonder if they really loved it or if they just threw it in because it's pretty. It's so overdone as a middle name.
Charlie is better on its own than Dolly but a bit masculine. Tamara is fine but I prefer Tamar. Tulip is interesting.
I don't mind the matchy flower names. What really bothers me is how Dolly is so cutesy and feminine and projects a rather dumb image and how Charlie is so unisex, modern and strong. They don't go together at all. I would have loved Tulip Tamara and Rose Rebecca. I also wonder if it was their intention that the flower name started with the same initial as the middle name.
