Herron... when I say it out loud, it comes out like HARE-en. I've known a couple of people with this surname, but never as a first name. It's interesting. I don't think I like it that much, just because it sounds like you're naming a child after a very lanky bird.Ellic is cool and would fit in well among the Elijahs and Alecs of today's kindergartens. The honoring part makes it even better. Very smooth choice; I like it.
