[Opinions] Rei vs. Rio?

Which do you prefer for a girl- Rio or Rei? I think that Francoise, the middle name that I'd use with either, sounds a little better with Rio, but I think I like the sound of Rei more. Thoughts?

Rei... Here in Japan, Rei can go either way, but Rio is usually for a boy (though I have met a girl w/ that name) and since you've got the Jpns. spelling for Rei, I'm guessing that's where you may be taking them from (I could be wrong)... Though I don't think either flows that well with Francoise.

I love the name the name Rei only if it's spelled this way. I can't stand it spelled Rae, Ray, or Raye. I agree with you that Rio Francoise sounds better than Rei Francoise but I don't really like it for either.
