Our first son, Raoul Malcolm Gets, has brown, wavy hair and brown eyes. His mouth turns down a bit at the edges and his nose is a bit too big for his face--but he'll grow into it! He's a smiley little chap and luckily doesn't fuss too badly.
...Two years down the road...
Our two new little daughters, Sara Juniper and Madeline Ash "Della", are here and they are absolutely adorable! Both have ringlets like their mother, but they're both blondes. Their eyes are a bright brown colour. Overall, they quite resemble their brother and father. Sara's as talkative as the aunt she was named for and looks like she'll be a great little soccer player. Della's the quiet one and loves to fingerpaint and play with Play-Doh.
...Two years on down the road (Raoul's four, Sara and Della are two)...
We've added another two feet to our family! Harold Bowie was named for Harold Chasen of Harold and Maude and for David Bowie. We're thinking of calling him Harry. He's got wavy blond hair and bright brown eyes.
...Two years more...
We now have a goldfish. Technically, he's Raoul's, but Sara and Della are fascinated by him, too. Raoul named him Hockey, after his Mum's favourite sport to watch. :D He's a lovely orange colour and responds to "Fishie" as well as Hockey (thanks to Harry).
...Four years on...
We've just welcomed Bertrand Bartleby to the family and plan on calling him Bertie. He's got curly blond locks and bright brown eyes, just like his sisters. Like all babies seem to be, he doesn't really enjoy sleeping, which hasn't made Raoul particularly enamoured of him. Harry is fascinated by his baby brother, though, and keeps asking when he'll be big enough to play tag with.
...Five years on (Raoul is 11, Sara and Della are 9, Harry is 7, and Bertie is 5)...
Finally--this will most certainly be the last one!--we have Diana Morning Gets. She's got curly brown hair and eyes, just like her motehr, but her mouth is thin and a bit twisty-down. She's going to be very cute when she gets older!
At the end:
Raoul Malcolm Gets, age 18~ Wavy brown hair, brown eyes, a rather large nose. Loves sciencey things and girls--a dangerous combination! ;) Is going to George Washington University come fall and plans to become a doctor.
Sara Juniper Gets, age 16~ Long, curly blonde hair, bright brown eyes, wears cat eye glasses. Enjoys going to concerts with her Aunt Sara and lives in t-shirts and jeans. Currently busy with playing tennis and doing schoolwork, but is hoping to go to UW Madison for a degree in Psychology.
Madeline Ash Gets "Del", age 16~ Wears her curly blonde hair short, in a 40s-ish bob. Has brown eyes and contacts. Plays the cello in both her school orchestra and the state's Youth Symphony Orchestra. Hates math but loves to read. Is interested in attending Berklee in Boston for college, with the plans to major in music therapy.
Harold Bowie Gets "Hal", age 14~ Wavy blond hair and brown eyes, wears black-framed glasses and looks a bit like Woody Allen. Is too busy with watching TV, playing video games, and listening to music to think much on college or school. Gets average grades--above-average ones in his biology class.
Bertrand Bartleby Gets "Bertie", 12~ Looks like the masculine version of his older sisters, with curly blond hair that flops over his brown eyes. Slouches about in jeans and a t-shirt and likes to collect baseball cards. Thinks school is okay but would prefer to draw pictures or play outside to actually going.
Diana Morning Gets "Dee", 7~ Is currently trying to grow her curly brown hair as long as she possibly can--and is refusing to have her bangs cut, hiding her brown eyes. She loves wearing dresses and won't put on a pair of jeans. Generally a bit doted-upon, she loves playing pretend.
