[Opinions] Re: For those of you just as nutsy about Hebrew names as I am
Could you ask your friend about Aviva, Noa, Michal, Chaya, Miriam, Eden, Kineret (Kinneret) and Keturah? that would be awesome. Such a surprise to hear the Zipporah is seen as dated, it is among my favorites.
Aviva is one of my favorites. It's so beautiful and I love its meaning. A wonderful name.I love Maya, too. Maia used to be my favorite spelling but since I know about Maya's Hebrew meaning, I prefer Maya.Oh I love Avia. I thought about spelling it Aviya but I guess it could be perceived as trendy by many or as just another Ava variant.ahhhhh Kinneret. I love it! I also like Rona, but I prefer Roni and Ronia nn Roni. Chaya and Hadar are lovely. I like Miri (prefer Miriam nn Miri), Naomi, Dana, Michal, Nahal, Sarai and Talia.I really dislike Rotem. It reminds me of "rotten". Nitza reminds me of Nizza (the party island) so I'm not a fan.Zev is cool and I like Noah, though I prefer it on a girl. I also love Noa for a girl.

Noa is currently the no. 1 most popular name for baby girls in Israel! I love it as well. I'll ask him about Eden and Keturah in addition to the ones I have down; I love Keturah!

thanks :) yeah Noa seems to be very popular there. I found the top 5 once but I was unable to find it again. I'm pretty sure that Roni was among the top 5 as well.

From what I've hear and seen, Noa and Michal are amongst the most common girls' names for Israelis my generation (ie born in the 1970s and early 1980s).
