Welcome Hannah, Thomas, Franklin, and Emily!
Hannah, Thomas, Franklin, and Emily are siblings from North Carolina. They were taken from their biological parents two years ago, when Emily's doctor noted the children had not had physicals in nearly six years and Emily was afraid to let the doctors touch her.
Hannah is a typical seventeen-year-old girl. She performs on-target in eleventh grade classes and recently took the ACT for the first time, getting a score of 22. Hannah enjoys singing and writing poetry. She has been in guard for the past two years and recently started an environmental club at her school. Hannah would like to go to college, but has not decided what she wants to major in.
Thomas is a happy-go-lucky, social fifteen-year-old. Thomas is in tenth grade and has average performance in school. He dislikes doing homework and needs to be encouraged to complete it. Thomas loves to be active and is on the school basketball and tennis teams. He also enjoys paintball, video games, and boxing.
Franklin, age twelve, is in seventh grade. He excels at math, but struggles in language arts and reading classes. Franklin loves using computers, playing with numbers, and playing basketball with Thomas.
Emily, ten, was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago, shortly after entering foster care. The cancer recently went into remission, but there is a chance it could recur. Emily is well-adjusted, and often takes the lead in keeping up her siblings' spirits. She is in fourth grade, and, while she struggles due to missing school, puts in a valiant effort. Emily is truly a special little girl.

Thank you for these kids. A year has gone by and they are adjusting quite well. Hannah has recently started to apply for colleges and can't wait to find out if she got accept in any of them. Thomas has recently got his license and loves to drive. Franklin is still have problem with reading but he is doing. As for Emily she is still in remission and is doing well.
