The Fontana family lives in Lancaster, PA. Both Lothario and Gilda’s families moved to the United States when they were children. They met at a local community center when they were teenagers, and have been inseparable ever since. Lothario works in construction, and Gilda has a job waitressing at an Olive Garden restaurant. They have four little girls; Sabina, Viola, Emilia, and Clarissa. Sabina is nine. She is in third grade and loves hanging out with her friends. She is outgoing and is a fantastic gymnast. Viola is seven, and in second grade. She also does gymnastics, but spends more time reading or drawing than playing with friends. Emilia is four. She is in preschool. She likes animals, and wants the family to get a dog. Clarissa is two. She goes to daycare while Gilda works. She is a happy, bubbly little girl who prefers speaking Italian over speaking English.
