[Opinions] Daphne vs. Phoebe
Do you prefer Daphne or Phoebe? Why? I feel like both names have a similar feel to them, and I'm curious to know if one seems more appealing than the other.

I like them both, but I've always loved Phoebe for no real reason.

I like both, but if it were my child, I'd prefer Phoebe. Maybe Phoebe Magdalene.

I love Daphne and it has always had a bit more spunk to it in my eyes than Phoebe, which I also like.

DaphneI thnk Daphne's perfect. Phoebe gets misspelled frequently, too. Daphne has no problems like that.

I like both, but I favor Daphne a little more.

PhoebeI feel like Daphne is too delicate. I prefer girl names that are feminine and strong. Phoebe fits that bill, for me.

I'm not crazy about either-- Daphne reminds me of Scooby Doo and Pheobe reminds me of The Magic Schoolbus. Daphne, however, was a nymph and there is a very beautiful sculpture in Italy where she turns into a tree, so I'd choose this one out of the two. It you like the E-at-the-end-that-makes-an-ee-sound names, why not Penelope (if it's not too crazy for you), or even better yet, Calliope, who could always go by Callie? Like either?
(:

Phoebe times a million! All I can think of when I hear Daphne is "daft". Phoebe sounds so bright and luminous; it's lovely :).

I like Phoebe better, though Daphne has it's appeal also.

I like both, but I prefer Daphne. It seems...I dunno, cleaner, sharper maybe? I might also be biased because I have a combo that I really love for Daphne (Daphne Cordelia) but I don't have one for Phoebe.

Daphne x 10000Daphne is much more sophisticated and classy, in my opinion.

TrittoDaphne is lovely. Phoebe looks nice, and sounds nice in my head, but Fee-bee is not a name I'd want to have and it's really cutesy.

Daphne is so much more beautiful. I have always loved it.

Phoebe all the way.I have loved it for a long time as well as Belphoebe. Daphne is nice too but it reminds me of that girl from Scooby-Doo. Daphne would get called daffy. So Phoebe wins. End of story.

I like them both but I prefer Phoebe. I love the meaning of Phoebe and I just think it sounds fresher and prettier than Daphne. Both names are lovely and you can't go wrong with either.

I prefer Phoebe. It has a more solid and less flighty feel to me than Daphne does, and I feel that it has a brighter and more clear energy. They're both very pretty though. I'd be happy to see either in use.

Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne x1000Daphne is my favourite name ever and (in my opinion of course) the most beautiful one in the world. I can't stand Phoebe, so the decision is pretty easy for me. ;)
