Arthur and Edith have Charlie, Ned, Essie, Oscar, Martha and Ada
In the five years that have passed since the birth of their first child Arthur and Edith have welcomed five more children. The twins arrived only 13 months after Charlie’s birth. Essie and Ned were followed by Oscar almost two years later. Martha arrived in May 1904 only 10 months after Oscar was born. Finally Ada entered the world on Halloween 1905.
Since marrying Edith has become a homemaker and she has her hands full with caring for the children and taking care of the home. The Washington family has grown a lot and with six children under the age of six it can be quite a handful. However; Arthur’s sister Dolly has moved in with the family to help out. She has been a great support for the entire family, but especially for Edith.
Arthur Washington supports the family by working as a lawyer at a local law firm. He made partner in 1904 and is well on his way to become a very import person within the law community.
Although Edith and Arthur already have six children they are planning to have more children, however; they want to wait a few years before adding any more members to the family...
