I came up with some events. If you want you can randomize than but you don’t have. You don’t even have to use the events.

It is a long, hard five years for Matt and Jen.
Even with life getting better and easier, the rift between them remained. Matt continued to scrounge up meager work until, under the suggestion of a good friend, he found work at a blacksmith's by the dock.
Jen's buisness continued to grow and, in 1912, they moved into their first small house. The children no longer had to share one room. Leo and Abe had one, Anneliese and Io the other.

It is 1915.
The Fields family has not changed much over the past five years, except for the addition of one more little boy!
In 1912, Jonny fell out of a tree he was climbing. Jamie and Benny ran to get Jack. They brought Jonny back home, and had the doctor look at him. It turned out that all he suffered was a broken arm. Luckily, it was better in just a few months. In the winter of 1914, the kids were all out skating on a pond. Unfortunately, Bobby fell in. His older brothers jumped in to save him, and carried him back home. Rachel went to get the doctor. Bobby was in a coma for two days because of the shock, and he ended up getting pneumonia as well. He did recover, though his body has been relatively weak ever since.
Jack's farm is doing well, and he is happy to have several young sons who can help him run it. Marie is busy taking care of her sons and daughter, and she wants to provide the best for them.
Jonny, 15, still wants to go to college to be a writer. He is sweet on one of the girls in school, Rebecca Bennington. He thinks she likes him too.
Jamie, 14, has decided that he'll invest in the agricultural world and be a farmer like his father. He thinks that instead of being a crop farmer, maybe he'll try his hand at dairy farming or pig farming.
Ben, 13, is the class clown and quite the charmer. He doesn't take too many things seriously, so its hard to tell what he's feeling. He likes being out in the woods.
Rachel, 11, is a sweet girl. She is quiet, but very witty. She recently experienced her first crush--a boy in the eighth grade named Henry Miles. He doesn't notice her because she's too young, but she likes him all the same.

Whilst walking home from school Emmett found a baby girl abandoned in the bushes close to our home. He brought her back and we have decided to keep her until a member of her family is located. THe boys have named her Georgina Daisy and are very protective of her. She looks identical to Oscar and they look roughly the same age although Oscar may be a few weeks older.

Arthur's sister Dolly also lives with the family.
The last three years have been marked by some very sad events. The Washingtons’ nanny Mary Jane fell ill with pneumonia in early 1912 and died from it in March 1912. Charlie, Essie, Oscar and Harry also fell with pneumonia and the disease claimed both Essie’s and Harry’s young lives.
Edith and Arthur were absolutely devastated. The children all grieved the loss of their siblings; Charlie and Oscar blamed themselves: why didn’t they die, when Essie and Harry had to?
Edward shut completely down; he did not want to talk to anyone about anything. He became really introverted. He also refused to be called Ned. That was no longer him; he was Edward!
Martha became angry; she lost her best friend when Essie died. She wrote a story about Essie’s death, which helped Martha in her grieving process.
Ada didn’t really seem to react, but Dolly once found her lying in bed crying in the dark...
Nora was really too young to completely understand; she kept asking “where’s my Harry?”
This is something that has scared the family tremendously.

A few months after Ramona was born, a baby was left in a basket on their front porch. There was a note on his blanket that read: "This is Trace Everhart's son, Jacob Leonidas Everhart. Please take care of him."
Cammie was devastasted-- Trace had been having an affair! And another woman had given him the son he'd always wanted.
However, Cammie decided the only right thing to do is adopt the boy-- he was her daughters' brother.

A lot has happened in five years. First in 1912 Mary had a healthy baby boy who they named George Roy. Two years later they had a healthy baby girl who they named Josephine. Mary and William had decided that after Josephine they would not have anymore kids.
Sadly Mary's cousin Ann and her husband, Samuel died. In their will they said they wanted Mary and William to take their sons. William and Mary quickly said they would and adopted Vincent Samuel and Anthony Daniel. Vincent and Anthony are good kids, but they often miss their parents. Mary is trying to help the two with their grief.
The Great War started in Europe but since the Redfields are American they have no been affected by it.
